Associate Researchers

We are pleased to announce the arrival of two new researchers associated with the INDCP. They join Patrick Fougeyrollas, lead researcher, with their diverse and complementary expertise. This will help to advance our disability and inclusion projects:

Gaël Villoing has been a lecturer in sociology at Université des Antilles since 2015. He is a member of the ACTES laboratory (Adaptations to Tropical Climate, Exercises and Health) of the sports faculty, within which he is responsible for the “Physical activities, health promotion, social participation, collective mobilizations” axis. He leads and participates in numerous research projects which focus on the socio-historical issues of sport for people with disabilities and on the impact of collective mobilizations in the development of sport in terms of performance or health. Author of several articles on these themes, he notably co-directed with Anne Marcellini the work “Corps, Sports et Handicaps (Tome 2) – Le mouvement handisport au XXIème siècle. Lectures sociologiques”.
